The president of TV Asahi Corp. stepped down Thursday after he was found to have misappropriated company funds for personal use, according to the Japanese broadcaster.
TV Asahi's board of directors accepted the resignation of Keiji Kameyama, with Chairman Hiroshi Hayakawa to now also serve as president, the broadcaster said.
Baby born to anonymous mom should be listed in family register.
The Kumamoto District Legal Affairs Bureau has instructed a hospital here to have a newborn recorded in a family register, even if the birth of the baby is not officially registered.
The directive follows a request from Jikei Hospital in Kumamoto city for a legal opinion on its confidential birth system, which seeks to register a baby without the mother's name.
